40V HP Brushless 21" CrossCut Self-Propelled Mower with (2) 40V 6Ah Batteries and Charger
40V HP BRUSHLESS 21" SELF-PROPELLED MULTI-BLADE MOWER KIT is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 759.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots of power! Purchased this lawnmower for easy maintenance and the extra power I need to mow in my back yard. I had a riding mower but I wanted a walk behind for the excercise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made a chore actually fun Bought this a few years ago and it is hands down the BEST lawn mower I have ever used. Believe it or not, I actually enjoy mowing the lawn now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from One of Two Batteries Won't Charge I bought this last weekend. One battery charged right up, the other won't charge. I can't get anyone on the phone, or by text or chat. They bot told me my closest repair location is an hour away. I usually choose Ryobi for all chargeable tools. This is super frustrating.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Be cautious- limited repair support I got my first mower in April 2023. It was used on the average about once a week through early September on a small fenced-in part of our backyard. In September it unexpectedly failed. The self propel function worked but the blades wouldn't turn. Thus began my adventure of trying to find a repair shop near me. Let's just say there wasn't one. We live about an hour west of Philly, and after expanding my search to a 50 mile radius three shops popped up, two in the Philly vicinity, one in western Jersey. The result of calling these shops was they only serviced Ryobi gas powered products, no electric- "it's not cost effective to do". They also told me that they get calls every day about the very same problem I had. I then called the Ryobi mother ship and was told they could send me a shipping label to send it for repair. Not acceptable. I still had mowing in my future, and a herd of goats didn't sound good. So, I took it back to Home Despot and returned it/bought another, as I bought a package with the blower and wanted to keep that. The new mower works the same as the old one, but with less noise and didn't bog down like the other mower did. But I'm still waiting with baited breath. With the knowledge that I'm not the only one with this problem, I'm thinking QC problems or manufacturing defect. So I give this mower 2.5 stars due to the first with problems, and the second one being a crap shoot. It would be a 5 but it's quite clear that Ryobi is interested in sales but not support. And with my experience trying to find a repair shop near a major metro area I assume if you live in a less populated area you'll be sending the mower back with a shipping label. So if you still want to take a chance with this mower, put it on your Home Despot card. I was told by doing so it could be returned within 1 year. So if it dies on me next spring I will do the same thing, kind of like leasing a car.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features and easy storage I have a lawn service; but purchased this e-mower for those times between service when I wanted to freshen the lawn or to pickup leaves. Very happy with the easy storage and usage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features not advertised I bought this a month ago and could not be happier. I love the rapid charger fully charges the battery in under an hour and has a built in fan to keep the battery from overheating. The mower actually increases when going over thicker parts of the lawn which is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mower So happy to go electric, no more maintenance. Mower works great, just make sure the run time meets your application. Mower has lots of power, mulches great and is quiet; highly recommend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful vacuum | Cuts clean Cuts look great due to dual blades. The vacuum action for picking up grass and putting into grass catcher works much better than my previous gas-powered mower (Husqvarna)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked great until it didn't Overall when the mower worked it was pretty nice. Close enough to listed area but factors did impact like grass height. Add ons and accessories were nice too. Then it stopped working. Since the blade mower quit (self propel and lights till work). I have tried to call Ryobi support. It looks 4 calls to actually get ahold of someone. I waited at least 30 minutes each time. The text options is useless as well FYI. When I did finally get ahold of someone they directed me to a shoot 30 minutes away. Who still hasn't answered my call or returned multiple VMs. So at this point I don't know what to do I have a bunch of Ryobi 40v tools but might need to either change brands or go back to gas mower.
