Good edger
Does a nice job. Guard gets some mud stuck. I wish the blade was wider. Overall it’s a good edger

Unsure
Tried using it once before the weather changed and liked it. It was a little difficult keeping it level but I feel like after a few more times, I'll get the hang of it.

Great for trenching
I have not used this tool for edging but I did use it to cut trenches in my yard for landscape lighting. It worked very well in cutting a trench 2-3" deep with minimal disruption to my lawn for burying landscape light wiring. It had trouble with rocks and tree roots as might be expected. The only criticism I have is that the plastic blade guard did not hold up well to small rocks that were thrown by the spinning blade. The guard ended up cracked and with holes through it. I suspect this could also be a problem when edging with this tool.
