It does a great job!
This edger does a fantastic job at edging along my driveway. It can take some getting used to as it is bottom heavy, and you have to get the adjustment of the guard wheel just right. After that it makes quick work of the task.

Great tool for Sidewalks
I was helping a friend with his yard while he was in hospital. His sidewalks were over grown. This did the job in a much easier way than using a string edger.

Such a great edger
I am a fairly new home owner and one of the things I looked forward to was being able to be put in the yard mowing and doing basic lawn care. I have to admit I absolutely live my edger attachment my lawn is always looking crisp and fresh. Ryobi has made a lawnscaper out of me. The ease of use the low maintenance im hooked and will be buying more attachments and products.

Good Edger but it does get bogged down
I have had this for about a week now and I do like it better than my string trimmer to edge the yard but it seems to shut down and the only way to restart it is to remove the battery and wait a few seconds. I am not sure that this is what it is supposed to be doing.

It is ok--I prefer the string trimmer in practice.
I got this to improve on my edging. My old neighbor had a very old gass 3 wheel edger that worked perfectly. Combined with the gas or electric powerhead this is just ok. I actually found using the string trimmer faster and did not have to stop to de-clog the soil buildup.

Great attachment for my 40v trimmer
Great addition to my lawn gear. I picked this up today after thinking about it for a while. Got it home, hooked right up to my 40v trimmer and away I went. For me, it took a little bit to get it just right but overall I'm happy with it. I went with 4 stars because I do wish there was a way to adjust how it rides against what you're edging, you can adjust the height but not the distance. I hit my driveway & patios a few times but nothing too major. Overall the areas look much better than before.
