good for some jobs, but not as good for others
It works but gets clogged up easy and won't get threw terf. works alright on already broken up soil. I love that it attached to my weed eater but that makes it a little unwieldy. I would recommend for small jobs.

This is a great machine for turning/mixing soil
I purchased this for cultivating jobs around my yard and flowerbeds. It works perfectly for what I need which is cutting through crusted/hard top soil, turning chopped up hardened soil, and mixing in compost. I run it with the Ryobi 40v trimmer head and there is plenty of power to get the job done using a 4ah standard 40v battery. It has a good, balanced weight that's not too heavy and I find it easy to maneuver. It makes my job so much easier than using my hand tiller, pitchfork, and rake cutting my working time from an hour or more down to 15-20 minutes. I'm in Colorado with hard, clay dirt and it performed with no problems. Great machine!

Good little tiller
I was able to finish the project that this was purchased for with efficiency. I initially had a problem with the product, but Ryobi customer support was able to correct it with amazing speed

Great for any job!
after 2 months of hard work the cultivator has helped me to recover my flower beds and works beyond what I expected. I am 30 hours in and it has handled everything I can throw at it for clean up. well worth the purchase.

Saves time!
I bought this in June and love it. I started off with a manual cultivator and after a day, I saw this at Home Depot. I am a female and can easily use and attach different components to the top part. I bought the Expand It line. I now purchased the trimmer and edger. The cultivator is light weight, easy to maneuver, and change out to other machines on the particular line. The battery does get used up more due to power needed and it required me to charge overnight and it provided me with 2 hrs of use. the other machines last longer on the 40 v battery.
