Great for any job!
after 2 months of hard work the cultivator has helped me to recover my flower beds and works beyond what I expected. I am 30 hours in and it has handled everything I can throw at it for clean up. well worth the purchase.

Saves time!
I bought this in June and love it. I started off with a manual cultivator and after a day, I saw this at Home Depot. I am a female and can easily use and attach different components to the top part. I bought the Expand It line. I now purchased the trimmer and edger. The cultivator is light weight, easy to maneuver, and change out to other machines on the particular line. The battery does get used up more due to power needed and it required me to charge overnight and it provided me with 2 hrs of use. the other machines last longer on the 40 v battery.

didn't want to like it...
...but I did. I bought this thing because I am waay too lazy to dig in my rock hard dirt by hand. Then it sat in the garage for over a year because I knew, without a doubt, that this thing would not work. When I saw the lady friend struggling to dig in the garden, I decided to try it out. Imagine my surprise when this thing rocked out. Garden cultivated in 15 minutes with this beast. It will catch rocks, so keep a hammer nearby. Besides that, this think works like a champ...

Perfect for light tilling and cultivating
Bought this for two reasons. First, I had some clay soil clumps I needed to break up in the front yard and I was tired of doing it with a shovel. I then tilled in some amendment with absolute ease. Second, it fits my Ryobi gas power head without issue, so I didn't have to buy another gas engine to just power the cultivator. Love that.

Extremely Pleased
I have a gas powered walk behind garden tiller that I used at the beginning of the season. After a portion of the garden needed tilled again, I needed something narrower. Having purchased Ryobi tools before, and being very pleased with them, I purchased the expandable tiller attachment. Though fairly heavy, I found the weight helped it dig into the soil better and the efficiency I got out of the battery was amazing. I tilled an area about 250 square feet and used only half the battery life! The soil was finely tilled and ready for raking ( stones and weeds) and seeding.

Smooth usage
The cultivator plus the attachment body plus a 6ah battery makes for quite a heavy setup, but it's got enough oomf to till a relatively large staging area for multiple raised garden beds. If sod is already pre-chunked, then it makes relativity easy work of it-- it can still chew up unbroken grass if taken slowly and methodically enough though. It's also almost self-propelling if just used to churn lose dirt.

Purchased the cultivator attachment today. Worked liked i hoped it wood, it's a little heavy, but manageable.
