Nice Trimmer, Battery not so much
I bought this to do a large hedge. Got it home and hooked up to charge. Battery errors out will not charge, completely dead. Had to take it back to HD for another one. One would think quality control would catch this. Other grip is comes with the 2Ah battery. Why not sell it with the 4Ah battery? My Ryobi leaf blower came with the 4ah. for $200 should come with the better battery. Otherwise nice trimmer I like that batteries are interchangable and 40v. This was the main reason I went with Ryobi and might get a mower in the near future.

Very pleased
I bought this trimmer 1-9 to use to trim some large course Pampas Grass. Cut through it with no issues. Couldn’t use the hedge sweep for initial cut as the large leaves and plumes were too heavy. I did not think I would use the rotating handle feature, but, it actually came in handy once a played with it. Looking forward to trimming my Zebra grasses and other shrubs in the coming week.

Great Features and reduced work time
I brought this as a replacement to my 20+ year Black and Decker trimmer. From the moment I opened the box and knew I would no longer need a cord, it was great. The larger size reduced the time to complete trimming all of my bushes.

Tons of power
This hedge trimmer was able easily cut through the thick hedges in my backyard. The hedge sweep feature works pretty well to keep the clippings from sitting on top of the bush.

Works quite well on variety of hedges and bushes.
My brother and I used on my mother's bushes and tall hedges. Worked great for the thicker stuff too. Overall very impressed with it.

Time saver
I used hand sheers my whole life, I knew every time I would be at least an hour touching up all my bushes. I bought these hedge trimmers and they turned my hour job into 15 minutes with no effort and a better finished result. Sometimes you know a tools going to make things easier but if you really knew, you’d have done it sooner. Very happy with my hedge trimmers,

No Juice
I purchased this about a month ago. Out of the box, the battery was bad; wouldn’t charge. Without any hassle Ryobi sent me a new battery (might have been by Pony Express). Got the new battery on the charger and…….no good. Now waiting for my third battery. It’s not the charger (tried 3), it’s not the end user (been using batteries my entire life), just a bad batch of batteries I guess. Hope third time is the charm
