Great for smaller jobs
Bought it for minor tree work. First time I used it the battery lasted about 20 minutes...but I had large trunks to cut up. Great for small jobs.

Ryobi 40v chainsaw doesn't work out of the box.
Ryobi 40v chainsaw doesn't work out of the box. Tried four different batteries. Called tech support. Absolutely no help. Returned it to Home Depot. 2nd one did not work either. Home Depot associate said it happens all the time.

Completely surprised
I’ve always had a chainsaw, but never thought a battery saw would keep up. I was wrong. I cut down 5 trees the other day, largest being 12 inches, and it didn’t bog down at all and only used 1 battery. Perfect for my needs at home.

Fantastic Tool!
I purchased this a month ago after selling my gas powered chainsaw. The 40V is crazy powerful! I am over impressed. I needed something to replace my gas powered as I could no longer deal with the pull start due to a back injury. This 40V is much lighter and for my use just as powerful. Cuts thru 10-12 in trees with no issues. You will be impressed.
