Vastly better than Blackmax
Have had Ryobi 2 and 4 stroke weed eaters before. Went to blackmax. Big mistake. Ryobi much more dependable.

BOUGHT THIS LAST WEEK, USED IT FOR WEEDS, CHANGED ATTACHMENTS AND USED WITH BLADE FOR NEW TREES, PUT ON FIXED LINE ATTACHMENT AND USED ON TOUGH WEEDS. WORKED GREAT

Curved Trimmer Updates
I bought the prior version of this tool two years ago. The wing nut would strip and have to be replaced frequently. Furthermore, the trimmer head would strip and not spin.
I recently bought the newer version of this model, only due to the fact that Ryobi made significant improvements to the tool. These improvements addressed my concerns and numerous others. Ryobi did a great job listening to customer feedback. I would recommend this tool to anyone looking to buy a trimmer. Not to mention all of the attachments available.

Second Time Around
This was a replacement for the same model. Previous one lasted several time longer than the Homelite ones we used to get. Easy start, strong engine. Use the Ryobi string. It lasts longer than the off brand.
