Samurai katana for the garden
I bought it a few days ago, I am very satisfied with the product, I saw a whole RYOBI set from a friend and decided to try it myself. Cutting bushes is a pleasure, the cut is even, only because of the specificity of the bush itself, sometimes some branches are missed, but they get stuck on the way back.

I bought this to wild bushes near my house, it works well, my favorite cordless feature, it makes it easier to get into small spaces. I gave it 4 stars because the 18v doesn't have as much power as I would like. If that is something that you are considering I would go with the 40v.

User friendly and time efficient
I used to have to pull out 2 - 50 ft extension cords to do my hedges, used to take me 2 hours, not with my cordless, it took me 20 minutes. Thank you.

Well balance, powerful utility trimmer
Replaced my Ryobi 18V trimmer attachment with the 22" hedge trimmer. Easy to handle, cuts hedge trimming easily. Perect for my 20'x2'x3' hedge and other live fence barriers.

Love the trimming sweeping attachment.

Worth the price!
I had had two previous 18v ryobi hedgetrimmers. The last one broke, much to my surprise. I was going to replace it but decided to try brushless. It truly cuts better, bigger and longer. I trimmed many bramble canes up to 3/4 inch without a problem and the battery lasted longer than with the previous weaker trimmer. It weighs more but is well worth it. Also trimmed a boxwood hedge(2x3 by 60 feet) on a single battery. The top vane pushes the trimmings away so cleanup is easier because less debris falls into the hedge.
