Better than expected
Enjoy the versatility of shear and hedge trimmer blade options. Overall really satisfied with the cutting torque as well as longer than expected battery life (considering the 1.5 mah battery). Trimmed and sheared everything needed in our yard space and still had battery to spare.

Worth the purchase
This was recommended by a Home Depot employee. I was kind of skeptical not being too familiar with the brand. But after a few uses I was very impressed. Been a great tool this far. No complaints

A must for gardeners
I’ve had the 18V shear/shrubber kit for a while and I love it. The shear cuts through the thickest ornamental grasses with ease which makes Spring time cleanup a breeze. It’s easy switching over to the shrubber to shape up my boxwoods. The 8” blade makes it very maneuverable and easy to handle. I’d have a hard time without it. I love it.

Very handy tool.
I purchased this tool basically for the purpose of Spring trimming of perennial and ornamental grasses. It worked very nicely. There was a setback. When I assembled the tool I discovered the fastening nut was missing. I experienced some issues notifying Ryobi in order to replace the nut. The wait time was over 45 minutes. I elected to have the company call me. They never returned my call that day. I again called. Once again another 45 minute wait time. Getting frustrated, I contacted chat support. I
During the early period of the chat, the company called me. The associate took my model and serial number and stated it would take 10 to 15 days to receive the nut. Fortunately, I had a wing nut that allowed me to operate the tool until the nut arrived about 5 days later.

Great size
I needed a shearer that wasn’t too big for a small female to handle but that could actually shear! This is a great size. I’ve used it for grasses, yew bushes, and rose of Sharon. It did a nice job! Hoping it lasts and lasts.

Amazing
Wow. I had the older 18v full size shrub trimmer for our last house. We want to keep our shrubs small. When I see this tool I was amazed. It was small but perfect for what we were looking for. RYOBI does it again. They keep making tools for everyone skill level.
