Powewrful and light
A great tool to add to my yard collection. Lightweight but perfect for getting nice clean edges. Enough battery power left to run the blower for clean-up.

Impressive power in a lightweight package!
1 step assembly and it was ready to go! I bought it to replace my gas-powered Troy-bilt that finally died. It is much lighter and just as powerful! This is my 4th Ryobi product. I also have the electric mower, drill and weed trimmer. I'm very impressed with all of them.

I have both and just don't use this one much moved house with longer drive and don't edge it

Very Good Cordless Edger
I purchased this Ryobi edger to replace an old one that I had for a few years. This one has the two wheels instead of just one like the old one which make it easier to run along the edge by the street. It has a heavier blade and a better adjustment for the depth and work much better. It's also easier to use so I recommend this for anyone wanting a good cordless edger.

Easy Assembly & Ready to Go!
My wife said to me today, "The lawn really needs to be edged." After weighing in the balance whether it would be in my best interest to edge the lawn, I chose the path less taken in my neighborhood, which is populated with men on their 2nd or 3rd marriages. The assembly of my Ryobi 18V One+ 9" Edger took all of 5 minutes, if you include putting on my shoes and opening the box. I plugged in a fully recharged battery, and 20 minutes later my lawn's edges were as straight as a highway in Kansas.
