works great for me
I like this battery powered belt sander. I'm mainly using it to strip paint or make adjustments to wood fences. With the 4AH battery it has a run time of ~15 minutes under heavy use. I have 2 batteries and the 30 minutes total runtime is all that I typically need.

Very good tool
I bought this sander yesterday. For replacing a 2x10-in door threshold. The old threshold was a monster to get out. The new one was even worse to put in. This sander saved my sanity. I was replacing the 2-in by 10 inch board by 36 in long, In one piece. Doesn't sound like a big deal, does it? But it slides in over a brick wall under it. And half cinder blocks between the bricks and the concrete slab, at an angle. So it had to be slitting over the blocks in the bricks and under the existing door jamb. Nothing, I mean nothing was square. The sander did an outstanding job though. The only drawback is. I have six, four amp hour batteries. Running a 50 grit belt on the sander. It will eat up a battery pretty quick. But other than that, it did an outstanding job. The best investment I've made in a long time. And when I register this tool. It showed that I have registered 46 products over the years. I have used all the tools for the last 20 years. And would not buy any other cordless tools. And no I don't work for Ryobi or home depot, lol.
