Exceeded my expectations!
Rarely am I surprised by how well a product works but this hedge trimmer is amazing! I bought it to trim a large tree in my flower bed and it cut through it like butter. I was completely finished in about five minutes! Snapped right on my older expand-it power head.

First Impressions
A bit overpriced in my opinion. It fits my battery powered expand-it equipment, but the instructions say for gas powered units only. Haven't been able to use it yet since it's the middle of winter, so my final review will have to come later.

Heavy duty
This thing is very heavy duty…made of metal and cast aluminum!!! You can adjust from straight to 90 degrees and anything in between!!! Works great!

Another excellent addition to an excellent system
Using the articulating head instead of the regular hedge trimmer makes sense for the expand-it power heads, because it's a little bit more unwieldy. It works well and can cut substantially larger twigs and branches compared to the regular as well.

Nice trimmer
This works great. I especially like the reach when used as an extension.

Great companion to my string trimmer
Bought this tool to switch out with my string trimmer head. Have a few spots where my riding mower won't go and I'm left with a wider than usual section of uncut grass that took up too much time with my string trimmer. This tool quickly trims those wider swatches of grass with no effort.

Very Good Trimmer With Extras
I have only had the trimmer for a short while, but it works well and the articulating feature really helps reduce the painful contortions required for contour trimming with a straight angle trimmer. The action is positive and it cuts very well. If it is still working this well after two years I would rate it a five star plus. I do think it is a shame that Ryobi doesn't offer an extended drive shaft to give the machine a longer reach. Some folks have taller, shaped shrubbery because they want it taller and it is much safer to have both feet on the ground when operating power equipment.

Great reach but a bit heavy
Just used once so far. Battery makes this so much easier than a previous electric or gas powered trimmers I've owned. The additional reach is great, but it is a bit heavy working over your head

Great product
I purchased this to deal with wild blackberry bushes trying to take over my yard. Worked great.

A little heavy
We bought this hoping to make hedge trimming easier. I have come to the conclusion there is no great trimmer out there. It does make it easier to have attachments verses multiple products. But it is a little heavy to use - convenient though.
